Pakistan cricket squad left on Sunday for their England tour

Pakistan cricket team left on Sunday for their England tour. 10 players who had tested positive for COVID-19 are staying back home.

It will be one of the first Test matches since the COVID-19 pandemic caused a global lockdown. Test skipper Azhar Ali said that team is looking forward to play the series after a tough period

The team flew on a chartered plane that carried 20 squad members including two reserves. Team was seen following SOPs by wearing face masks and observing social distancing at Lahore airport in pictures released by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

The squad will have two-weeks of isolation period on arrival before the two four-day warm up matches.

Pakistan team has three Tests against England in August followed by three Twenty20 internationals in this tour.
