Taiwan stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the , Biotech & Medical Care and Plastic sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Taiwan, the Taiwan Weighted lost 0.83%.
The best performers of the session on the Taiwan Weighted were Taiflex Scientific Co Ltd (TW:8039), which rose 10.00% or 14.00 points to trade at 154.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Plotech Co Ltd (TW:6141) added 10.00% or 3.55 points to end at 39.05 and Logah Technology Corp (TW:3593) was up 10.00% or 1.45 points to 15.95 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Hong Ho Precision Textile Co Ltd (TW:1446), which fell 12.79% or 2.20 points to trade at 15.00 at the close. Yeong Guan Energy Technology Group Co Ltd (TW:1589) declined 9.92% or 0.61 points to end at 5.54 and Hanpin Electron Co Ltd (TW:2488) was down 9.87% or 5.30 points to 48.40.
